TERMS & CONDITIONS

HOW TO ORDER: By Phone: We do not accept phone orders We are an online order business only. All Online / Mail orders are accepted on the basis that these terms and condition have been read,  and that you fully agree with them at the time of purchase.

DISPATCH / DELIVERY TIMES

PLEASE NOTE . . . .  
We do not operate a "NEXT DAY DELIVERY"  service

All orders are processed ASAP,  - If you select to have your parcel sent by Parcel Force 24 hour or Royal Mail Special Delivery, these will be delivered within 24 hours after we have processed / packaged and taken your package to the Post Office, and at that time we will send a dispatch email with your tracking number - 

DO NOT expect next day Delivery following the day your order was placed. !

Regardless of what day your order is placed, we only have collections by royal mail on a Tuesday or Thursday, Therefore when your order is marked as dispatched, it will not be shown on the Royal Mail system before either of these two days, and any tracking will only apply from that date and not the dispatch date.

All Goods remain the property of Pyramid Models until paid for in full. We reserve the right to adjust product descriptions or quantities if necessary, to balance any error in payment. Credit notes may be given at the time of dispatch, at the discretion of the company. We reserve the right to alter the price and specification without notice and request further shipping costs should our calculated amount not be sufficient to cover the actual cost of the shipping.

MAIL ORDER: To help us process your order quickly, please use the stock code numbers as shown on this website when ordering by mail. 

STOCKED ITEMS
All items shown on our website as being in stock, are a stocked item, under no circumstances do we drop ship any items or buy to order, but occasionally stocks can run out unexpectedly, as we also sell the same items on other websites including Ebay and Facebook etc. . . ..and a slight delay may occur, 

The customer will always be informed of any delay immediately by email should it be longer than 14 working days before we can dispatch your items.

All "off the Shelf" items are normally dispatched within 14 days (Not including weekends & Bank/Public holidays) 

All " MADE TO ORDER " items , these include all printed and computer cut Vinyl Decals will be dispatched as quickly as we can, but usually no longer than 14 working days....... These are NOT off the shelf - PLEASE allow us time to produce your ordered items !

All items regardless of what day the item or items were ordered will either be dispatched on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday.However for UK Post Office deliveries, please allow up to 2 weeks from the dispatch email/date before contacting us for non delivery, as we and the Post Office will not respond to lost item claims before this time . 

We can accept payment by Cheque or Postal Order (UK orders only), or by the following payment methods - PAYPAL (incl. all major Credit/debit cards)

WEEKENDS / BANK HOLIDAYS
We have had customers in the past expecting orders to be taken by phone/processed, emails answered immediately, and their orders to be picked / packed and dispatched on weekends and UK Bank Holidays.

Unlike the Pyramid Models website which is available 24 hours every day for your convenience, Pyramid Models Staff also like to benefit from these times off, so please do not expect communication by phone or email or orders to be processed for dispatch on weekends / Public Holidays, and therefore you should calculate these days as non working and allow more time should your order be placed within 72 hours of a weekend or Bank Holiday. On some occasions, staff may be working on these days or later than 5pm, and will answer emails and package your items, but this should not be taken for granted as normal working days !

SMALL ORDER SURCHARGE: A small order surcharge (£2.00) will be added to your order total if you phone through the order, and only if the "total goods" is under £5.00 - 

Orders under £5 will not be accepted online and you will not be able to proceed further until your order reaches at least £5 in goods
Orders over £5.00 can only be placed  Online

By Post: Please fill in the order form provided and send it to: Pyramid Models,22 jubilee crescent, Arlesey, Bedfordshire, SG15 6SB, UK. If paying by cheque please make your cheque payable to Lee Jones and write your home address, or cheque card number and expiry date on the back.

POSTAL CHARGES - When ordering online your order will be calculated according to the weight of the total order, and will vary according to this weight and the destination delivery country. All orders online and offline, are however subject to a minimum Post and Packing charge of £3.50

Please note: We can only accept cheques made payable in pounds sterling that can be drawn on a UK bank (Eurocheques not accepted). If you pay by credit card and incorrectly calculate the final total, we reserve the right to charge your card up to the correct amount. If payment is made by cheque and the amount is incorrect, the order and payment will be returned to you for correction.

Delivery & Timing: We cannot confirm in writing or by email, the receipt of your order if purchasing by letter or over the phone. If you place your order online, an email will be sent to you confirming that the order has been placed, and a further one at the time of dispatch. Should you not receive the order confirmation email within 24 hours, you may have supplied an incorrect email address ( it does happen!) and you should contact us immediately with the correct email address 

If you send your order by post please allow 7 days from posting in the UK before ringing for confirmation.

DELIVERY REFUSAL

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES refuse the delivery of goods we send, as this will incur a minimum of £5 REFUSED Delivery charge (up to a maximum of 20% of the item cost)  for which the customer will be liable. Any refused item will eventually be returned to us, and only then will we give a refund, Minus the NON delivery charge and the original postage cost. Under no circumstances will we accept liability for items that have been refused when delivery was attempted.

It is the policy of Pyramid Models that any item returned to us will not be sent out again, a refund for the cost of the item will be given, less the refused Delivery charges and the original Shipping Cost

Please allow 14 working days (UK) 28 days (everywhere else) from the date of our receipt of your order before contacting us to chase progress on your order. Under normal circumstances, your payment will be taken within a week of being received by us. Whilst we make every endeavor to dispatch your goods within two weeks, the timing of this is dependent on seasonal fluctuations and availability of your ordered item. At all times we make every endeavor to dispatch your goods no later than 14 working days of receipt of your order, if this proves to be not possible for whatever reason, we will contact you and let you know why.

In the event of a non-arrival of goods, you must contact us within 30 days of sending your order to us. We cannot be held responsible for lost parcels that are not reported to us within this period and therefore no refund will be given or should be expected after this time.

Guarantee & Returns:......Due to the fact that many of the items we produce are "made to order", we unfortunately cannot accept returned items of a product unless the item is faulty in some way within the first 30 days. We will not replace or repair any item after 30 days. If you find a fault within 30 days we will be happy to repair or replace the faulty item (like for like, same size / colour etc subject to the item being returned and in stock, if not in stock a refund will be given )   - please phone or email first to obtain a returns ID number, Products must be returned to us for replacement within 30 days of receipt. Buyers will be required to pay for the cost of returning the item. All returned items must be sent back by recorded/signed-for delivery, just asking for a postal certificate (Proof of posting) from the post office is not sufficient. We also reserve the right to decline goods which are not sent by an insured and safe delivery service, which could result in the parcel arriving back with you.

Lipo Warantee / Guarantee
Your lipos are guaranteed for 7 days from receipt, provided they are not used or modified. Modifying includes changing the connectors. Not used means not flown or charged/discharged. The reason for this is lipos are very temperamental - they can be damaged very easily by overcharging, over discharging, being left in a plane with battery connected, being shorted, being flown beyond the low voltage cutoff etc. We also can't tell how many times they have been used. We check lipos on dispatch for cell voltage. It is a very simple check and takes a few seconds. We recommend for your own peace of mind that you do the same on receipt. After you have charged them or flown them they are yours. it is very simple - if you are not happy with these terms - BUY THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE! If you think this is harsh - think again. We have done your homework for you and listed out the guarantee of other companies. These companies have in no way been singled out for their harsh returns policies. Infact they were the only ones which could be found with any reference to a specific lipo guarantee on their site and should be commended for their honest approach. Hobbyking do a detailed guarantee, but you must report any under voltage lipos the same day as receiving them and a claim for under voltage is only valid if the lipos haven't been cycled or used. They will also not accept shorted lipos. Electrifly do a one year one time guarantee - but check the small print. You have to use an electrify charger and balancer. And use it in accordance with the instructions. This does also not apply to performance issues related to normal wear and tear, modified lipos or crash damaged ones. BRC Hobbies don't put the lipo guidelines on their site. They only state that 'Lithium Batteries - Please read the lithium battery user guidelines supplied with each lithium battery BEFORE use. If you DO NOT agree with these terms please return battery for a full refund before use.' That seems to indicate something unusual. Why not just put it on the site? Puffin Models only accept lipos that are unused, unmodified, and returned in the same condition that they arrived within 7 days of purchase. ExtremeRC checks both the individual cell voltages and the battery pack voltage for every Lithium Polymer battery pack before we send them out. EXTREME RADIO CONTROL then warrantees all packs to have proper assembly and cell voltage at time of purchase (As do we). However, they 'do not offer a general warranty for battery packs which have already been charged and discharged, or for which claims are made more than one week after receipt of said battery packs by the customer.' With this in mind please check your lipo when you get it. Measure the cell voltages and if you are not happy with these send it back. If you are not happy with the warranty please don't use or buy it. Lipos that have been charged or discharged are not warrantied. This as you can see is not specific to Pyramid Models. Thanks for your understanding.
BUSINESS, COMMERCIAL or INDUSTRIAL USE
We only sell products that are produced for the home domestic and amateur hobby market, they are not designed and cannot therefore be used for prolonged / continuous or daily use within any business !.

When buying any item from Pyramid Models, you are in agreement that all the items purchased from Pyramid Models are for hobby use only, and anything purchased from Pyramid Models that are to be used for industrial, commercial, Professional, within a business environment or by students of colleges, universities, Schools will not be covered by any guarantee, given a replacement or refund, after a period of 14 days, commencing from the date of purchase. We also retain the right to refuse the supply of any items to these organisations, and you agree with all other terms and conditions of sale.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS -  With items that are made to order, we will not accept any cancellation requests should you just decide to change your mind (accept at our discretion) - Should you want to cancel an order for any reason, please be aware that we will retain a £5 administration charge (Maximum) or a 20% restocking fee, whichever is greater.

INCORRECTLY ORDERED ITEMS - Should you incorrectly order an item, make a mistake when ordering or change your mind, then we will not accept the items back for a refund or exchange, especially as most Decal  items are made to order / cut from the roll and are not a shelf stocked item. This includes you not selecting the correct size, colour or typeface, matt or gloss surface. We also do not accept returns on a try out and buy basis, such as buying an item to try first or 2 sizes of decal sets and sending the one you don't need back for a refund.

YOU ALONE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PLACING THE ORDER CORRECTLY

RETURNED TO SENDER
If your order is returned to us because you have supplied an incorrect postal address, it cannot be delivered, not collected from your local post office, or you refused delivery, we will not be obliged to refund any of the shipping costs, and will only refund the cost of the item if a refund is requested, and not before it has been received by us. Should you still want the item to be sent again, you will be required to pay the full Shipping charge again. YOU ALONE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PLACING THE ORDER CORRECTLY

Incomplete orders

Should you have items missing from your order due to an error on our part and not being dispatched to you, we will immediately send the missing item/items to you at our cost as soon as we receive notification. We also reserve the right to cancel the supply of an item/ items should the shipping cost be greater than the cost of the item. A refund for the amount paid for the missing item will be made by the same method as payment received.

Damages: Any goods damaged in transit should be returned to us for replacement. Incorrect/faulty goods must be returned to us before any replacements are dispatched.

Breakages 

Should the customer Break any item we supply during construction or in it's use, Pyramid Models will not be responsible for replacing / repairing this item or refund of any payments, however caused. This includes all Kits and Undercarrige legs

We use Paypal exclusively for all online payments, and the use of SSL encryption technology to protect information and payment details transmitted via the internet. All losses sustained by transmission of information or payment by any E-mail or other internet link are to be borne solely by the customer and Pyramid Models shall not be liable for any such losses in any circumstances.

We have taken as much care as possible to describe our merchandise accurately, however from time to time slight variations may occur. We will not be held responsible for errors made on this web site and reserve the right to inform or not inform the customer if any incorrect information is found and changed, before or after your order is placed and a payment is taken.

Pyramid Models liability for any claim shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by Pyramid Models.
